Giant Sacaton Grass (sporobolus wrightii) is a drought-tolerant perennial native grass plant. This ornamental grass reaches 8-10 feet tall and 6 feet wide when mature. Flower spikes vary in color from blonde to bronze, blooming in mid-summer. The southwest native grass tolerates heat and has low light and water requirements. With many low-maintenance characteristics, this grass can be used in many different landscape designs, making it the perfect addition to any outdoor living space.
